New Balance Klang Pacers Run4It 12km...

One of my running buddies, Rosey decided to sign me up as well for the run when I was still in Melbourne since we needed to train for our next half marathon at PBIM...

I think there were only about 1000 (or less) runners that turned up for the event... Everyone must've gone up to Genting Highlands... (Will def trailblazing next year!)

We arrived about 10 mins before the men's category was flagged off... We started running about 10 minutes or less after that...

The weather was quite good yesterday... It was quite breezy... But, as soon after the first 2km, I started to inhale all of the carbon monoxide gases from the cars, buses and lorries!!!

And for the first time, my lungs nearly closed up on me because of these... It was so bad that I even tasted CO2 on my tongue... Total ewwww!!! :(

Since I have a history with asthma, I didn't want to push myself at all as I was breathing frantically... (Note to self: Start carrying an inhaler while running!)

The roads along the 12km route were pretty much busy, and it was disturbing to see the impatient drivers from the irritating honks as they were being held by the RELA crew for giving way to the runners... Idiots...

I started to feel the heat at the last 2km... So decided to run faster to get this run over and done with... Didn't want to sunbathe myself again :P

I completed the 12km run in 1 hour and 23 mins! :)

With the ladies...
Ody completed her 12km in 1 hour and 15 mins...
Both Nyna and Rosey completed in 1 hour and 22 mins...
Oh, and someone's spotting a new hairdo ;)

With fellow bootcamper Viki...
Congrats to Kak Nawal (far right) for completing the 12km in 1 hour 4 mins and was placed at no 9 in the category! Woot woot!

The 12km running group!!!

The finisher medal... Very nice! :)
All of the pics above were taken from Nyna and Rosey's mobile uploads on FB since can't upload pics from this old laptop of mine...

This will definitely be my first and last time running in Klang due to the polluted air... Not good not good...

Next: Terry Fox Run KL...
