New Balance Pacesetters 15km Run...

The run started and ended at Padang Merbok, Kuala Lumpur... The same place where I used to go for my bootcamp trainings previously...

My running buddies on that morning were:

Kak Nawal

Blurry pic of us - with Rose and Nyna

The route: It was not too bad at the first 4 km of the run... But it got really challenging when we entered the Bukit Tunku area.. *Curse to the developers of Bukit Tunku!!!*

Furthermore, there were only like 3 water stations... Thumbs down for this...

Here are a couple of pixies during the run:

It was already H-O-T at 7 plus in the morning!

We made friends while running at the Bidor Half Marathon...

Kak Nawal, Rose and Mr Po-po posing before entering the Bukit Tunku route

As you can see, it was so so HOT and this was taken at one of the hills...
Pretty much everyone was walking including myself...

Me not liking this hilly route and sticking a tongue to it!:P
Outfit for the day:
Adidas King of The Road's 2008 Running Jersey, Response 'Drei Streifen' Baggy Short by adidas, Nike Elite Structure Cushioned Quarter running socks and Asics Gel Nimbus-11 shoes

But Kak Nawal made sure that we stick to each other until the finishing line...

Nyna, Moi, Kak Nawal and Rose at our last 2km...
Thanks to Kak Haza for this lovely shot of us! :D

So, the four of us ran hand-in-hand to the finishing line and clocked in our 15km run at 1 hours and 55 mins...

Not my PB since I didn't really train for this run... *Padan muka*

But the run definitely did 'wake' my legs up to train for the Sundown Marathon... Hehe...

Eventhough we were super dead tired from the race, we managed to camwhore as usual :P:

With my finisher medal ;)

With the bootcampers #1

With the bootcampers #2

4 of us with our finisher medals :)
Officially have a 2-toned coloured body now :P

Front and back view of the medal

With Uncle Jauhari, CEO of Malakoff and my dadaa's friend who's a triathlete! Power!

With Kak Haza herself...
She'll be doing her first ultramarathon (84km) at Sundown next week..
Super MAD respect for her! ;)

With Lily...See you at Sundown next week! ;)

Now, I need to find a good reflexologist to massage my achy breaky legs!!!

Next run: Sundown Marathon @ Changi Exhibition Centre, Singapore...
